Ben Shephard to be the new regular co-host of ITV’s This Morning

Biography

Singer-songwriter Lauran Hibberd draws inspiration from her upbringing as a ‘cork-head’ on the Isle of Wight.

As a kid, Lauran lived next door to a surreal tourist attraction called the Dinosaur Farm; a maze of old fossils, plastic caves, and motion-activated T-Rex roars. Her first job was cleaning the museum’s dinosaur eggs with a toothbrush. Still based on the island, Lauran loves the slow pace of living, and her music, charged with deliciously quick wit, draws on its many idiosyncrasies.

Following on from her debut EP Everything Is Dogs released in 2019, Lauran released Goober on eOne in 2021. 2022 saw the release of her debut album Garageband Superstar on Virgin Music, with NME praising it as “an undeniably ambitious and charming debut.”

2023 promises to be Lauran’s biggest year yet as she goes on a full UK/EU tour alongside All Time Low, concluding at the iconic Wembley Arena.
